Supermux puts your self-hosted AI coding agents on your phone. Here's how to get going and where to get help.
Getting started
Run the broker on your own computer (macOS, Linux, or Windows) — one-line install at supermux.dev.
Pair the app — open Supermux on your iPhone or iPad and scan the QR code your broker prints, or paste the pairing link.
Start a session — pick a project and an agent (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, or OpenCode) and go. Use chat, the terminal, the editor, or reply by voice.
Requires a running Supermux broker. Supermux is a remote client for software you run yourself — it doesn't run agents on your phone. Setup instructions are on the homepage.
Troubleshooting
App won't pair / "stuck loading" — make sure your broker is running and reachable from your phone (same network, or over a private mesh VPN like Tailscale). Re-scan the QR or paste a fresh pairing link.
Voice won't start on first use — the on-device speech model downloads the first time; you'll see "Preparing speech…" briefly, then it works.
Can't reach the broker — confirm the broker's address and that it's listening; check your network/VPN.
